It is already on July 1st that the AçorSonho group inaugurates its third unit: Hotel Verde Mar & Spa, in Monte Verde, in Ribeira Grande, Azores, has confirmed to Hotel Management the hotel administration. The hotel group currently has two hotels in the portfolio: the five-star Pedras do Mar Resort & Spa and the four-star Hotel Vale do Navio, both on the north coast of São Miguel Island.
The investment in the new five-star is 16 million euros, as it had already advanced to our publication Vitor Chamber, director of the AçorSonho group, earlier this year.
The Hotel Verde Mar & Spa offers 152 rooms, restaurant, conference room for 100 people, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, gym, games room, garden and a spa with an area of one thousand square meters.
The decoration will have as motto the sea, with several elements of beach reflected in the various spaces and predominantly blue and green.
The hotel will have two distinct restaurants, one with the concept of sharing food, with regional delicacies, and another tasting space in fine dining mode. In addition to the restaurants, there are also two bars, one of them next to the restaurant and another next to the pool area, both designed to welcome our guests with refreshing drinks and light meals.
The AçorSonho group added that there are two other hotel projects for the north coast of São Miguel: one for families in Ribeira Grande and another on Praia de Santa Bárbara.
